I wanted to report what happens with my update attempt, but I hadn't found 
enough time in the last 2-3 days due to something unexpected and sad 
happend... :(((

But anyways, I were not able to compile a 2.6.11 kernel with the patch 
provided by adams packages anymore, because of the "binutils" problem. I have 
patches for compiling xen itself with a new binutils version, but the patch 
for the kernel doesn't seems to work.

so, sorry about that. But if Julien had successfully updated 2 servers already 
I think we are on the safe side anyways...
