It looks like you are making some real process at the moment. I am not sure
how to merge both "trees" in future, but I think that's the way we should go
at some point.

but ia64 is not really ready for "production-use", right? otherwise we should
start providing ia64 packages too... (argh, has anybody a ia64 host for
testing the results?) :)
