I second the fact that this is a quite important issue. I have built
from xen unstable, and just copying the qemu-dm binary was not enough.
What's the solution here? I as well believe that having just the PV xen
in Debian, and no HVM support is quite a regression that is unwanted.

If you guys do not want to do the packaging work, because you don't have
enough time to do so (that was the argument, wasn't it?), then you
should get in touch with Ian Campbell, which is a DD and works for
Citrix, or with Stephen Spector from Citrix, I'm sure they will be able
to give the necessary human resources to work on this issue (at least,
this is what Stephen told me last November at the Xen Summit in Shanghai).
