[Pkg-xen-devel] Bug#836896: xen-utils-4.6: xenstore-read does not read from daemon

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I simply created an image and a domain config file was created for me, then
tried to create the domain with xl create /etc/xen/xen1.cfg.

I get errors with the block hotplug script, because it can't read anything from
xenstore.

After debugging it, I realized that xl was writing to xenstored, while
xenstore-read, called from the hotplug script tries to read from
/dev/xen/xenbus instead. It looks like that this behavior for xenstore clients
is caused by debian patch tools-xenstore-compatibility.diff.

I could not find any explanation on the changelog for this Debian specific
patch. But it seems to be the cause of xen not working for me.
