There is a problem in qemu 1:3.1+dfsg-8+deb10u6, which is the qemu
security update that was released last weekend.

Until the regression update is ready, it's advised to downgrade your
qemu packages back to 1:3.1+dfsg-8+deb10u5

The problem causes the qemu process to crash when it tries to start.

Are you sure there is also a problem starting a PV guest? If so, can you
provide more information?
