Could any DD do an upload of what's in git now?  I cannot because of the
new debug package.

I'm preparing a new 1.6.0 upstream release (with only a minor fix), and
having some testing of the fixes 1.4.0 would be good before we upload
1.6.0 to debian too.  I intend to add symbol versioning to the package
as well.
