Hi.  Any progress here?

Btw, why work on 2.2.x more when there is the 2.3.x branch?  I don't see
anything saying that 2.3.x is more unstable than 2.2.x, is it really so?
2.2.17 is around 2 years old, whereas 2.3.2 is at least released this
year.
