No, it's an entirely non-existent package; that's the problem.

$ zgrep libkrb5-multidev ftp/dists/sid/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz
Depends: libgsasl7 (= 1.8.0-5), libidn11-dev, pkg-config, libntlm0-dev,
libkrb5-multidev

(and that's the instance which is the subject of this report).

How does having a non-existent package as the second alternative help? 

In any case, the original point of the request was to depend on
krb5-multidev rather than libkrb5-dev, so suggesting reverting to
depending on libkrb5-dev also doesn't make much sense.
