I agree.

There are two concerns:
 - privacy (the sender can easily get the IP address of the receiver)
 - security (images viewers have had buffer overflows in the past)

However, both risks are taken in most chat applications, nowadays.
There is no specific risk in the context of Gajim, that I'm aware of.

If nobody objects, Gajim will recommend gajim-urlimagepreview "soon".
