[Pkg-xmpp-devel] XMPP Bug Squashing

Hello,

I looked into the open Bugs[1].

There are bugs which has been reported back to 2002. What should we to
with such bugs?

Personally, I think it doesn't help to look into bugs which are older
than 26. April 2015 (Release Debian 8.0 - "Jessie"). Even to look into
"Jessie" and "Stretch" bugs will be a challenge.

What do you think will be the best process to reduce the number of
bugs?
