Hi there,
to fully support "XEP-0357: Push Notifications", `mod_cloud_notify`
(cf. <https://bugs.debian.org/841872>) is not enough, as explained in
its README:
<https://modules.prosody.im/mod_cloud_notify.html
Some clients, notably Siskin and Snikket iOS need some additional
extensions that are not currently defined in a standard XEP. To
support these clients, see mod_cloud_notify_extensions.
<https://modules.prosody.im/mod_cloud_notify_extensions.html>
Manually downloading in `/usr/local/lib/prosody/modules/` the 4 Lua
files below...
`mod_cloud_notify_extensions`
`mod_cloud_notify_encrypted`
`mod_cloud_notify_priority_tag`
`mod_cloud_notify_filters`
...and activating `mod_cloud_notify_extensions` was enough to get "push
notifications" in Siskin:
<https://github.com/tigase/siskin-im/issues/81>
NB, I have been testing this on a production system (and different
iPhones) since 2023-08-05!
Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
