Yes, this is intended and coordinated. The "taken over" packages only
exist on kfreebsd-any architectures at the moment, and my package
(zfs-linux) only produce those ones on linux-any architectures. Other
tools' dependency that depend on these libraries and tools will be
adjust later to adapt to such change, but it's unlikely to happen very
soon because zfs-linux still need time to prove stability on Debian
systems.
