[Pkg-zfsonlinux-devel] What more can be done to get ZFS into Debian?

My impression is that those that were eager and interested four years
ago when the work to get ZFS into Debian started, and which has spent a
significant amount of time trying to get ZFS into Debian, have lost
their motivation to spend more time on it before the packages actually
are included in Debian, to avoid wasting more time if ZFS proves to
never get accepted into Debian anyway.

Thus we are waiting for the packages to get included into Debian, and I
suspect it is the only thing that can ignite the spirit again.

Personally, i came it so late in the game (around Christmas), so I have
not yet lost hope and motivation, but I doubt it is a good strategy to
expect more like me to show up and do a lot of work before the packages
are in the Debian archive.
