I have no idea if that is true, nor why it would be so if it was true.
I care more about Debian users and scratching my own itch.  I would like
Debian to be as good as it can be.

It is not a goal for me to stay as close to upstream as possible.  To me
that is a means to reduce the work load and keep the distribution
maintainable in the long run.
