[Pkg-zfsonlinux-devel] Scripts with .py ending in /bin/?

When building the zfs source, three scripts with .py endings are placed
in /bin/. This is normally seen as a bad idea in Debian. Is there a
reason these are installed with their .py ending? Lintian warn about
this during build:

  W: zfsutils-linux: script-with-language-extension bin/arc_summary.py
  W: zfsutils-linux: script-with-language-extension bin/arcstat.py
  W: zfsutils-linux: script-with-language-extension bin/dbufstat.py

I am getting ready to upload, but am a little unsure if the scripts
should go into the archive like this or not. What do you think?
