Is there any chance to keep the removed exported symbol? Could you guys convince the kernel team? There’s no copyright issue since it’s released code, it’s just keeping a symbol that has been in exported in the kernel for the past 7 years. On top of that, Greg is violating the kernel release rules by removing exports/doing code cleanup in stable kernels.
