Package: zfsutils-linux
Version: 0.8.3-1

You might consider rewording the description of zfsutils-linux [1] (and
possibly other binary packages; I didn't check them all). I don't think
anyone calls it "The Z file system". At a minimum, I'd change that to
"The ZFS filesystem ..." or "ZFS ..."

Here is wording that combines the existing package description and some
the language from the ZFS-on-Linux FAQ [2], and some other edits (e.g.
dropping "multiple copies", which basically nobody uses, and adding
encryption, which is new since that was written).

"OpenZFS is a storage platform that encompasses the functionality of
traditional filesystems and volume managers. It supports data checksums,
compression, encryption, snapshots, and more."
