I recently installed ZFS on root using the following guide:

The configuration of my system is:
- I use native ZFS encryption
- I use old legacy Bios to boot
- I  use an ext4 partition for the boot partitin and the rest of the
system is in a single ZFS pool (with datasets) as described in the
"root on ZFS" guide.

I do not know if those bugs are related. I'll try to reproduce the bug
using a virtual machine. I'll keep you posted!
