The issue first appeared in Linux 6.2, caused by commit
aaeca98456431a8d9382ecf48ac4843e252c07b3[1].

Let's wait a bit to see what upstream would respond. We could patch to
disable simd on arm64 (as well as the runtime benchmarks with simd) as
a last resort, though I personally wish to avoid that.
