Matthias Klose is re-packaging zope2.7 and some zope products with a
different layout for Ubuntu. [1]

With his work, he's trying to solve problems like using the same product
with different instances and different zope and python versions and
enabling a product only for specific instances, which actually are not
automatically handled by debian zope packages.

The main novelties are zope-debhelper, which provide a debhelper script
to simplify debian/rules file for zope product packages and zope-common,
which contains dzhandle, the tool that will manage the instances and
their products.

I've started packaging zope-debhelper and zope-common for Debian,=20
but I think they will be introduced only after sarge because they
require a different layout for zope2.7 package and for all zope
products.
