[Pkg-zope-developers] Problems with plone on debian

I installed plone from debian testing, but I cannot seem to access the plone 
site.

1. I can access the zope management page at localhost:9673. 

2 I edited etc/zope.conf and uncommented the lines
products /usr/lib/zope2.7/lib/python/Products
products /usr/lib/zope/lib/python/Products
products $INSTANCE/Products

3. In the Zope management window at  
Plone Site at  /Control_Panel/Products/CMFPlone/test1 I
can view the plone site.

4. When I go to localhost:9673/test1 I get a zope error - resource not found.

I asked for help on the plone irc, and I was told the debian packages are 
broken and I should install from source! 

What have I missed in the debain setup? I can't find any further help on the 
plone site.
