You are right, zope.event only contains 4 lines of trivial python code.
Still, it is one of the core libraries of the Zope Toolkit and provides a
very useful functionality (event system) which is extended by
zope.component to provide a type-based event dispatching system.

It sounds stupid to have a package with just 4 lines of code, but it is
needed for the Zope Toolkit. :-/
