Request to join

Hi folks,

I've just joined this list, and submitted a request to join the Debian
Zope/Plone team (hi admins, please approve! :).

I've been a member of the Debian Python teams for a long while now and have
been a DD for about a year.  I'm particularly interested in helping to add
Python 3 packaging support where upstream supports Python 3.  First up will be
Chameleon (see below).  I'd like to be able to do team uploads as I get these
working, but if the workflow for this team is significantly different than
DPMT and PAPT, please let me know.  I've read the wiki page.

I feel remiss in not having applied to this team long ago!

Chameleon: I have a working local svn "branch" which splits python-chameleon
into three packages, adding python3-chameleon and python-chameleon-doc (for
the common documentation).  It also changes the build system to pybuild, since
that's really the best option for bilingual support.  The changes are
minor-ish, but it does drop B-D for python-van.pydeb, which isn't available
for Python 3 and is really unnecessary afaict in the presence of pybuild.
