As far as I can see both packages currently have git repositories
under collab-maint. The easiest way is probably to leave them there.

The team already has a git repo under collab-maint, but also one under
pkg-zsh:

Background for maintaining the zsh package under collab-maint is that
we initially hoped to make contributions more easy that way. But for
non-DDs it's more difficult to gain collab-maint commit permissions so
zsh-syntax-highlighting (short zsyh) has been established under
pkg-zsh to easily give Daniel Shahaf write permissions on the git
repo.

So if you expect more contributions from non-DDs, you might prefer
moving the repos to pkg-zsh. I actually feel ambivalent about this...

Some team resources you probably should know about:

* There's a #pkg-zsh IRC channel on Freenode (irc.freenode.net) where
  most of the team is in. Initially the channel was mostly German
  because all initial team members have German as mother tongue. But
  since Daniel joined us, we mostly switched to English as channel
  language. (Feel free to poke us if we fall back to German while
  non-German speakers are around. :-)

* There are two mailing lists for the team:
  https://alioth.debian.org/mail/?group_id=30155

  You probably want to join at least the pkg-zsh-devel list as that's
  the one where bug reports will go to for pkg-zsh maintained
  packages.

* We also maintain a small wiki page at https://wiki.debian.org/Zsh.
  Feel free to add a list of packaged zsh plugins or such, if you
  want.

* We maintain a list of zsh-related packages in
  https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/zsh.git/tree/debian/zsh.bug-script#n29
  to easier spot potential issues in plugins which were reported
  against zsh. Will add zplug there soon.
