Hi,

I think we often enough have threads outside bug reports and
discussions or questions with regards to multiple packages at once on
this list to validate a lists.debian.org list.

https://wiki.debian.org/Alioth#Mailinglists)

So I plan to file an according lists.debian.org wishlist bug report to
create such a list on lists.debian.org.

I tend to ask for "debian-zsh" instead of "pkg-zsh-devel" as list name
if no one opposes.

With a list named "debian-zsh at lists.debian.org" I also would like
encourage users to first ask for support there instead of directly
filing bug reports for "my scripts don't work anymore with the newest
zsh!!!1!eleven!". There's also a small hope that this would attract
more people who then get and read the bug reports and give valuable
inputs to those more support-like bug reports we occassionally
receive.

For the commits mailing list, I think gitlab or tracker.debian.org
hooks should fully suffice.

Please raise your voice if you're not happy with that suggestion.
