[Pkg-zsh-devel] JFYI: Migration of Zsh Packaging Git Repo to salsa.d.o Ahead

Hi,

JFYI: I plan to start the migration of all zsh team packaging repos
(zgen, zplug, zsh, z-sy-h) to salsa.debian.org in the next few days
and will at least do an zsh upload for that.

Last time we had to create zsh packaging git repos, we've chosen
collab-maint to ease getting helping hands from other DDs while being
aware that it will be harder to contribute for non-DDs. And then the
team grew with both types of contributors.

But since adding users project-based is no issue at all anymore for
the collab-maint successor at https://salsa.debian.org/debian, I don't
think we need to declare a real team on Salsa as we did on Alioth for
getting the mailing lists. (Please object soon if you disagree.)

What is not yet solved are the hooks which trigger automatic builds
and piuparts runs on jenkins.grml.org. I'm in contact with Mika for
that.

I plan to push to both git repos, the old Alioth and the new Salsa
one, until the hooks are in place on Salsa or until Alioth gets
shutdown — whatever comes first.

I'm not yet sure how we'll handle the Maintainer field in the future,
but since existing Alioth mailing lists are continued for a while, we
can postpone this for a while until some best practice is known. So
I'd leave it as is for now.
