Hello Peter, 

I am not sure this will give us more valuable information than the
'vote' field, this will be unreliable since people can install package
both with aptitude and without on the same box, and we cannot add this
feature without first asking the user if s/he accept to report such
extra information.

We cannot simply changes popcon to report any information we would like.
