[Popcon-developers] Bug#480501: Error: v-string in use/require non-portable

Package: popularity-contest
Version: 1.44
Severity: important

logcheck informed me of the following error in popcon:
/etc/cron.weekly/popularity-contest:
v-string in use/require non-portable at /usr/sbin/popularity-contest line 26.

This is almost certainly related to the current perl transition.

Filing at severity important as it looks like this is only a warning
and not a hard error, though it should definitely be fixed before the
release of Lenny.
