[Python-apps-team] Bug#485887: hg convert does not support modern Darcs repositories

Package: mercurial
Version: 1.0.1-1
Severity: minor

hg convert claims to support darcs (as a source format). This appears
to be limited to the (legacy) Darcs 1 format; when I ran hg convert on
a Darcs 2 repository it failed to detect the repository type.

Either hg convert should be extended to handle Darcs 2 repositories,
or the docstring (that is, the output of hg convert --help) should be
changed from "Accepted formats: [...] Darcs" to something like
"Accepted formats: [...] Darcs (legacy Darcs 1 format only)".
