[Python-apps-team] Bug#593665: gmail-notify: Unable to choose a language that has an Unicode character in its name

Hello,

After choosing "Fran��ais" as a language for gmail-notify, the programmed
crashed.
I ran it from the console, and it crashed immadiatly, without displaying any
window.

Here is the output :
