[Python-apps-team] Bug#599260: "please check settings/network" error could be improved…

Package: nagstamon
Version: 0.9.4-1
Severity: normal
The error message: "ERROR - please check settings/network" is not exactly
very helpful. It doesn't tell me:
1) Which server it's having problems with (I have three set up!)
2) What the problem actually is (connection refused? timeout?)
The error also seems to appear quite frequently, even when all three servers
are working fine. This is probably a separate bug..
