Great to hear!

The right procedure for getting this in a point release update is
detailed in the Developer's Reference[0], its not very complicated, but
its important to note the steps:

1. prepare a package, target the distribution to stable

2. post to debian-release at lists.debian.org requesting that the package
be considered for the point release, include the diff of the package
(debdiff if possible)

3. wait for the go ahead from debian-release

4. then upload

I'm happy to do the upload for you, if your sponsor is not able to do it
in the limited time we have left for the upcoming point release.
