Package: canto
Version: 0.7.10-1+b2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

i tried to start canto by executing the command canto on the commandline. Canto fails to start with the following error message.

Beginning1main1loopython: malloc.c:4631: _int_malloc: Assertion `(unsigned long)(size) >= (unsigned long)(nb)' failed

The problem occurred after the rebuild against python 2.7. Before that everything worked fine.

I made a clean reinstall and wiped all config files but the problem still remains and renders the package unusable for me.
