a note/recommendation:

the main change in this patch as far as I see it -- switch from cdbs to
dh.  It must be mentioned in the changelog.  Ideally, you should build
the package after that patch and debdiff resultant .changes with the
previous one to see if everything looks legit.  That can help to avoid
lost files/links/etc

and yeah -- probably cython3 is the best adequate name for the
python3 package ;)
