OTOH, a few possibilities:
* the libav and/or x264 libraries that you have installed are not the
same ones that were used for building xpra
* the build you have used the wrong libav patches
* there is a compatibility problem between xpra and the version of libav
you have (I seem to recall this was the case when I tested 0.10.x builds
with sid) - so maybe we need yet-another-libav-patch
