[Python-apps-team] Question regarding the Mercurial package in testing

Hi!

Just a quick question,
When updating Mercurial in Testing (2.7.2-1 -> 2.8.1-2), it suddenly
decides to pull in 52 new packages of which most are related to X11.

Is that a mistake or intended?

And if the latter, how can all these extra packages from being installed?
(From a security and maintenance point of view, I prefer to have the
absolute minimum installed on a machine necessary for it to do it tasks.)

Example:

    # apt-get install mercurial
