[Python-apps-team] Debian Bug report logs - #589177 gmail-notify: Unable to connect. Error "Login appears to be invalid"

Hi,
I'm using debian wheezy and the package gmail-notify 1.6.1.1-2. Yesterday,
I've got the same problem discribed by Carnë Draug the 15 july 2010 on the
debian bug report (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=589177).
Is this problem solved with this new version of gmail-notify? Could you
explain to me how to solve it?
