FWIW, I'd also point at Planet as the culprit... Not because I have
done any real research on the matter, but because of the amount of
feeds generated by Drupal, the regularity/easyness of the format, and
the stability of the Drupal7 release... If this bug has existed for
five years (since version 7 was released), I guess we would have
already heard about it!

Of course, I'm open to dig on the issue... But will first wait on the
planet-venus maintainers to comment on it.
