The test suite doesn't need pycairo (or pygobject), but it's hard to
explain this to 'python setup.py test', which assumes all of the usual
install_requires will be needed for the test suite.

It would be best if the Debian package could use 'python3.7 -m gtimelog.tests'
to run the test suite.  I'm not sufficiently familiar with pybuild to
know how to tell it to do that.

As a quick workaround I could modify setup.py to set install_requires=[]
when it finds 'test' in sys.argv, but that feels dirty.
