[Python-apps-team] Bug#922061: unmaintained upstream, switch to other implementation

Package: ctop
Version: 1.0.0-2
Severity: normal

There are two "ctop" packages out there, this one, packaged in Debian:

https://github.com/yadutaf/ctop/

... and "ctop.sh", not yet packaged in Debian but occupying a similar
namespace:

https://ctop.sh/
https://github.com/bcicen/ctop

>From what I understand, the latter is better maintained and less
confusig. The last commit on yadutaf's program date from 2017 and
there hasn't been an update of the Debian package since stretch, so I
wonder if we really want to ship it with buster or maybe replace it
with ctop.sh.

Thanks!

A.
