[Python-apps-team] Bug#979257: rabbitvcs-gedit plugin does not load on gedit 3.8+

Gedit version: 3.30.2-2

The RabbitVCS plugin won't load at all:
- install rabbitrvcs-gedit and gedit packages, run gedit
- go to Preferences > Plugins
- enable the RabbitVCS plugin
- the plugin stays grayed out, the tooltip shows an error message
(missing loader)

I think the plugin needs to be ported to python3
