Using reportbug without a mailer is not an option? Knowing things like
the architecture is something you need for a lot of bugs, I'd have
expected that you're running a more "special" architecture.

Thanks for the log and system info. I'm running an amd64 here, too, and
don't have any problems at all. Could you please try again to build it?
Probably python was broken for a short time, or something similar happened.
