yeah, python-support generates something like:

 Depends: python (<< 2.6), python (>= 2.5), python-support (>= 0.7.1)
 Python-Version: 2.5

and to be honest, you will have to change it by hand

 Depends: python, python-support (>= 0.6.4)

should be enough
