[Python-modules-team] Bug#525563: please package new upstream release (2.0)

Version: 1.7-2
Severity: wishlist

As per subject. Version 2.0 has been released upstream and claims to
be feature complete wrt Markdown test suite.

Can you please consider packaging it?
