the bug is not important, it's not happening here, so it's a problem
in testing or on your system.

am I suppose to guess you run 'ipython -pylab'? can't you provide the
full console output, along with ipython and matplotlib configuration
files (both global and personal, if different)?

since you used reportbug, why did you removed dependency pacakges?
please provide them, else we cannot help you.
