Hi,

currently[1] matplotlib cannot be compiled on GNU/Hurd, because there is no
platform entry for hurd in the 'basedir' dictionary in setupext.py.
The attached patches adds the correct entry ('gnu0' is the 'sys.platform' on
GNU/Hurd).
