Package: python-application
Version: 1.2.1-1
Severity: important

Hi,
during a test with piuparts I noticed your package left unowned files on the
system after purge, which is a violation of policy 6.8:
http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-maintainerscripts.html#s-removedetails
From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):
1m3.0s ERROR: FAIL: Package purging left files on system:
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/twisted owned by: python-twisted-bin
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/twisted/plugins not owned
Purging of python-twisted-bin alone is no problem. Bert Zeimetz asked me to
file this bug, so he can deal with it. (Leaving files after purge is not a
super big problem of course, though it is a violation of policy, but it also
prevents piuparts tests of packages which depend on the failing ones, thus
possibly preventing the detection of more serious issues.)
regards,
Holger
