python-pymodbus has the following line in debian/control:

Depends: python (>= 2.6.6-7~), python (<< 2.8)

This might be OK for the time being, but it'll become incorrect once we 
drop python2.6 from the set of supported versions. Please use 
${python:Depends} instead.
