Package: python-geopy
Version: 0.94.2-1
Severity: important

hi folks

while playing with the Qgis geocoding plugins I discover that Google geocoding
service is not more working since March due to a protocol upgrade. While V2
should still work, in practice it is not longer the case and the V3
implementation provided by 0.95 is required. That in practice also triggers
a change in the Qgis plugin (in order to use the new GoogleV3() call).

IMHO at least a proposed upgrade in wheezy could be considered for this
package. On the DebianGis and Qgis side: the named geocoding plugin
requires an update ASAP.
