which reverse dependencies are you concerned about? the only reverse
dependency i see in debian right now is mandos, which is already GPLv3+
http://metadata.ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs/main/m/mandos/unstable_copyright
So i don't think this is a problem for python-gnutls in debian.
Are there other reverse dependencies we need to be aware of?

This would require that someone maintains libgnutls26 for the indefinite
future. Who is going to do that work?
